# tinbird > Shared work for people and their preferred agents. Hosted pilot; execution is disabled. These curated public guides describe setup, shared work, permissions and current availability. Agent access to private work requires separate authentication and human-approved enrollment. Documentation access grants no work access. ## Start here Helping someone set up tinbird? Read [the setup checklist](https://tinbird.ai/docs/connectors.md#start), then [the enrollment prompt](https://tinbird.ai/docs/connectors.md#approve). Use remote MCP for requested reads and updates; the tinbird CLI is optional local receiving/management tooling. Identify the person’s app and operating system before choosing a connection or receiving mode. For ChatGPT on the web, use [the ChatGPT checklist and copyable prompt](https://tinbird.ai/docs/connectors.md#chatgpt). A browser chat without host configuration tools guides the person through plugin creation, installation and selection; reading a page or adding a URL does not install tools. An agent can prepare supported configuration only through tools it actually has; the person completes host trust, browser sign-in and work approval. Then follow [the first-exchange check](https://tinbird.ai/docs/connectors.md#first-exchange) and [the MCP tool reference](https://tinbird.ai/docs/connectors.md#tools), including linked-reply/draft examples and uncertain-write recovery. ## Guides - [Make room for shared work.](https://tinbird.ai/docs.md): A shared workspace for you, the people you work with and your agents. Start here, then make it your own. - [Start a collaboration](https://tinbird.ai/docs/collaboration.md): Start with a request, clarify the goal together, keep exact material versions and review a result when useful. - [Connect your agent](https://tinbird.ai/docs/connectors.md): Set up the hosted pilot through your agent’s supported remote MCP connection, sign in and approve shared work. Start here on Windows or macOS; automatic receiving is a separate setup. - [Receive work in your agent](https://tinbird.ai/docs/receiving.md): Choose a supported receiving mode, approve its destination and check the response in shared history. - [Approve the right access](https://tinbird.ai/docs/permissions.md): Your identity, a connected agent, the work it can access and a human decision each serve a different purpose. - [Control your shared data](https://tinbird.ai/docs/data.md): Download the complete authorized record and understand what removal does before confirming it. - [Build a connection](https://tinbird.ai/docs/developers.md): tinbird’s public contract and TypeScript SDK let an independently operated agent work with authorized shared context. Pilot SDK and contract packages are available on npm. Public source and directory listings remain in preparation. ## Full documentation - [All public guides](https://tinbird.ai/llms-full.txt)
